Patagonia Gold plc is maintaining a high level of exploration activity in Argentina.  Exploration teams working in several provinces supported by international consultants, are conducting exploration on over 200 properties (minas and cateos) covering 7,000 square kilometres. 

The Company has compiled a diverse geological portfolio in Argentina which was significantly enhanced by the acquisition of the complete portfolio of Barrick Gold's properties in Santa Cruz.  Patagonia Gold remains commited to the region and is constantly looking at other opportunities for exploration and acquisition.

The Company's aim is to build a portfolio of highly prospective properties which have the potential to be developed into a multi million ounce resources in order to maximize shareholders' return.
