La Paloma BRECCIA SOFIA PROSPECT
SANTA CRUZ, ARGENTINA
Potential to increase the oxide resource defined at Lomada de Leiva.

PROSPECT LOCATION

Breccia Sofia is located 1 km northeast of the Lomada Leiva Project which contains a NI43-101 compliant gold resource.  The Breccia Sofia prospect is considered part of the same intrusive mineralised complex and drilling in 2008 will target the zone between the two known areas of mineralisation.

PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

The Breccia Sofia prospect is contained within the La Paloma Group of concessions, which total 44 km², held 100% by Patagonia Gold S.A (PGSA). These concessions were acquired in 2007 from subsidiaries of Barrick Gold Corporation.

GEOLOGY

Gold mineralization is characterized by structurally controlled millimeter-wide drusy quartz veinlets, silver sulfosalts, and gold bearing disseminated pyrite hosted in oxidized and argillized, brecciated rhyolitic flow complexes.  Mineralization is typical of a low sulphidation epithermal veinlet and stockwork deposit. The stockwork  veining is north-northwest trending, sub-vertical and covered by Tertiary and Quaternary sediments in the southern portion of the drilled area.  To the north mineralization is truncated by topography.

Exploration by previous explorers (2002-2004) yielded significant drill intercepts which are summarized below, correlating to stringers of silve sulfosalts and disseminated pyrite which retunred values up to 140.6g/t Au and 420g/t Ag over a 3m composite interval and included a 1m bonanza grade of 401g/t Au and 1045g/t Ag.

Recent drilling in 2007 by Patagonia Gold at the Breccia Sofia sector totalled 2,500 meters of RC drilling in 17 holes.  The table lists the most significant intercepts in addition to which are a significant number of intercepts returning over 1g/t Au. These encouraging results make the Breccia Sofia area a priority target for further exploration. Results from a recently completed magnetotellurics survey (CSAMT) over the southern portion of the target area covered by a veneer of Quaternary sediments cover indicates continuity of the north-northwest mineralised trend.

Additional drilling is planned for Breccia Sofia in 2008.
